1944 Cartoons From Newspaper Original cartoons clipped out of the newspaper - no idea which one - complete with classified ads on the back. One is titled "Out of Our Way" by J.R. Williams and the other is a classic, "They'll Do It Every Time," by Jimmy Hatlo. Both are syndicated/dated October 10th and 9th, 1944, respectively. Paper is aged, but is not brittle, only slightly discolored. Both cartoons are crisp and clearly printed. I am selling these out of my personal collection because although they are from World War II, neither of them deal with wartime themes, so my finickiness is your gain!
Only one set!

Original Unissued Kriegsurlaubsschein 1 I have some original UNISSUED World War II German Kriegsurlaubsschein or leave passes. It is specifically for soldiers traveling at Wehrmacht expense with a Wehrmacht ticket. It is original and unissued. The front has a small area for the train station date stamp in the lower right and there is a rather extensive list of limitations and regulations on the back. There are no stamps or Nazi indicia. The paper is a soft newsprint and shows slight age, but is not brittle at all. In fact, it's much like modern artists' paper. I got this from Germany and it is a duplicate from my own collection. Only one left!

Original Unissued Kriegsurlaubsschein 3 I have a few original UNISSUED World War II German Kriegsurlaubsschein or leave passes for soldiers traveling at Wehrmacht expense and using the small Wehrmacht travel pass. The green stripe indicates that the soldier was traveling at Wehrmacht expense, but must have the kleinen Wehrmachtfahrschein with him in order for the pass to be valid. It is original and unissued. The front has a small area for the issuing duty station's stamp in the lower left and there is a list of limitations and regulations on the back. These have no stamps or Nazi indicia. The paper is a soft newsprint and shows slight age, but is not brittle. I got this in Austria and it is a duplicate from my own collection. Only one left! |

Original Unissued French 301J Ration I have several original UNISSUED World War II French meat rations. They are not dated. The page is perforated into individual tickets; I have no idea what each ticket equates to, however. Each ticket is numbered and has J2 in the lower right corner. There is a small circle to the left for the stamp of the mayor's office, but there are no stamps or indicia. Black ink printed on a very light rose colored paper with a background print in darker rose that reads "Ravitaillement" and Ministry of Agriculture. No aging! The sheet is roughly 4-1/4" x 6-1/2" and in GREAT shape! I got these from France and they are duplicates from my own collection.

Original Unissued World
War I I have a number of UNISSUED World War I French bread ration from July - no year indicated, but this is probably from 1917, based on others I have seen that are dated. The front of the card is divided by day for each day's allotment of 100 grams of bread for the card holder. There are no perforations - most ration tickets were either cut out or stamped once the coupon for that day was used. The back has a propaganda statement, reminding the holder that rations were vital to ensure that those at the Front had what they needed every day. Black ink printed on a very light powder blue paper with minor aging at the edges. The page is roughly 4-1/4" x 7" and in GREAT shape, seeing that it's 90-years old! I got these from France and they are duplicates from my own collection. |
