Echockotee Lodge Year Patch - 2003
Every year, the Echockotee Lodge, a group of the Boy Scouts of America, holds four seasonal gatherings and one annual
gathering, for which they have patches designed. A good friend of mine was instrumental in these gatherings and contracted
me to create a number of patches, each year based on a particular theme. In 2003, I illustrated patches commemorating
the tribal leaders of Florida, most based on original paintings by Caitlain in the early 1800s. The last patch, the Year Patch,
was the largest (8" tall) and most opulent of the series. The squares at the bottom are for the patch manufacturer to match
and identify all the colors used in the design. This was the final "simplified" version.
