I am, first and foremost, a creative artist who has never shied from an opportunity to express myself, regardless of medium or method; an artist who has advanced not only in ability, but in positions of responsibility and authority in the management of artistic personnel. As an accomplished designer and writer, my goal has always been to bring the wealth of my experience, knowledge, and skills together to provide the best possible work. I am currently seeking an employer who will appreciate my skills and provide a challenging work environment, though I am also available for freelance assignments.

I have served most recently as a Vice President for Production and Media (2001-2008) where I worked closely with clients, designers (as many as five at one point), and printers to ensure the finest work possible. I have served as Art Director and Creative Director for two different offset print shops and an apparel printer (1986-1999), all without a formal education in design. I have been a freelance designer and illustrator since 1980, and have been the owner of a web-based retail store selling reproduction historical paperwork that I have made to museums, motion pictures, and living historians since 2005. I have also been published in two national magazines and have completed three science-fiction/fantasy novels.

I am a designer, illustrator, and writer who is experienced in multiple applications of web design, graphic design, illustration, and production art, both traditional and digital. I have won several local Addy Awards for my work in advertising, as well as having won an Honorable Mention award from the prestigious L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest. Friends have referred to me as a modern Renaissance man; a commercial artist, fine artist, singer, published writer, historian, legal researcher, philosopher, political analyst, and Marine Corps veteran. I am currently researching a new form of abstract expressionism, and hope to debut this innovative fine art concept soon.
